The McCann family, owners of fruit and vegetable distributor Fyffes, took a cut in their pay packets for the 14 months to December 31, 2000 after the company produced dismal results in 2000. The three McCanns received a combined payout of #1.24 million for the period. This compared to a remuneration package of #1.38 million for the 12 months to end September in 1999.
