Lauras Ashley sheds jobs

Almost 200 clothing jobs are facing the axe after the troubled fashion and fabrics group Laura Ashley announced it was closing two factories. The company said it was shutting two Welsh loss-making garment sewing factories in Caernarvon, Gwynedd and Machynlleth, Powys. - (PA)
