Kindle to open new centre in Bangalore

Kindle Banking Systems, the bank software firm with headquarters in Dublin, is to open a new software and support centre in Bangalore, India. This brings to five the company's network of overseas operations. The latest move is in line with Kindle's strategy of positioning itself close to its markets. The new Bangalore centre will act as a focal point for all Kindle's Indian and South East Asian activities, providing support to a growing number of banks within their own time zone. Kindle's flagship product, Bankmaster, is currently operational in 81 countries, and is used in more than 1,000 bank locations in India alone.
