Hall Kinion & Associates, the international information technology recruitment consultants have registered a £28,358 (€36,007) judgment against Viasec Ltd, the Donegal-based software group in which Eircom is an investor. The company, which employed more than 50 people is being put into liquidation after running out of money.

Eircom had a 30 per cent stake but decided not to put any more funds into the group which was developing security software for e-mail.
