Invest-Tech, a Dublin-based management consultancy, has released Exl-Plan, a range of financial planning software for businesses. Six versions are available for small, medium-sized and larger businesses, using either European or US accounting formats. Providing templates for financial projections for business plans, strategy development, and budgets, Exl-Plan generates comprehensive three- to five-year projections, which run in conjunction with the Excel for Windows spreadsheet.

Exl-Plan has been under development for more than 18 months, and on public beta test on the Internet for the past three months.

Shareware (try-before-you-buy) versions can be downloaded from Invest-Tech's website at http://www.planware.org. These are remotely upgradeable via the Internet at prices ranging from £39 to £149.
