Industrial turnover in transportable goods industries increased by 19.2 per cent in March 1998 when compared with the same month last year, according to the Central Statistics Office. On a seasonally adjusted basis, turnover for transportable goods in the first quarter of 1998 was up 11.6 per cent when compared with the last quarter of 1997.
