THISTLE Hotels will check in on the London stock, market with a price tag of up to £1.24 billion sterling when it floats next month, it announced yesterday. The stock will go on sale at between 170p and 210p a share, valuing the company at between £1.05 billion and £1.24 billion. Trading in the shares is expected to start on October 9th.

The company said it expected to make an operating profit before exceptional items of at least £100 million in the current financial year.
