Dublin's latest four star hotel, the £17 million, 194 bedroom Stakis Dublin hotel, which being developed in Charlemont Place by the Stakis hotels to casinos group, is set to open in September.

The new Dublin hotel will be the first of a chain of Irish hotels and will employ 130 people. It will have banqueting and conference facilities for up to 300 people, restaurant and bars and extensive underground parking.

A second Irish hotel with 130 bedrooms, being built at a cost of £16 million in Templepatrick near Belfast, will have more extensive facilities than the Dublin hotel.
