The Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, Dr Woods, has approved grant aid which will lead to investment of more than £3.25 million in the fish processing industry and create employment for 85 people.

The grant approval involves projects at five fish processing companies. To date a total of £22 million has been invested under the Operational Programme for Fisheries since 1994.
