First Active has appointed Mr James Kelly as a non-executive director of the company. Mr Kelly, who is a fellow of Gemini Consulting, is the fourth new director to be added to the board since the appointment of chief executive, Mr Cormac MacCarthy, some months ago. Most recently, former Esat director Ms Lucy Gaffney was added to the board. Mr Kelly previously served as co-chairman and managing director for Europe and Asia at Gemini. He co-founded the MAC Group, a Gemini subsidiary, and was its president and chief executive.
