ESB's architectural plans

The architectural division of ESB International has been reorganised as a stand alone, multi disciplinary practice

The architectural division of ESB International has been reorganised as a stand alone, multi disciplinary practice. The new practice is called Building Consultancy Group (BCG).

The move is designed to give the operation a sharper focus, reflect its expanded range of services and give impetus to plans for expansion in Ireland and Europe.

The practice has been providing architectural consultancy services through ESB International for some years. Its current work programme includes a border crossing point at Gubinek, Poland which includes six major buildings and a number of smaller service buildings. The crossing handles commercial traffic on the artery route between Berlin and Warsaw.

BCG employs 30 people. Its main professional areas are architecture, project management, quantity surveying, urban design and structural and environmental engineering.
