Management from international food and drinks company Diageo descended on Dublin for a three-day management conference yesterday.
Some 160 members of Diageo's management worldwide will take part in presentations, working sessions and licensed trade visits including a trip to the Guinness Storehouse.
Diageo, which was formed in December 1997 through the merger of GrandMet and Guinness and owns brands such as Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Smirnoff, J&B, Bailys, Ceurvo, Tanqueray and Malibu, said Ireland was one of the group's four major global markets.
