UKInvestments:Irish property investment vehicle Custom House Capital has announced the completion of Portland House, a "green" office building in the Birmingham satellite town of Solihull.
The building extends to about 5,500sq m (59,201sq ft) and was purchased by the company in 2006 for about €35 million at an initial yield of 5.25 per cent. Established in 1997, Custom House Capital invests 75 per cent in property with the remainder in equities.
It manages assets worth more than €1 billion and has purchased more than 30 commercial properties in Germany, France and Switzerland in the past year.
