Development Land: Developer P Elliott and Co is believed to have paid €25 million for a development site of 1.1 acres at Grand Canal Harbour in the Dublin docklands.

Riverside 2 is one of the last remaining sites at Grand Canal Harbour and Elliott plan to use it for a mixed development of 124 apartments and a seven-storey office block of 8,1,65 sq m (87,886 sq ft). There will be 28 basement car-parking spaces.

Construction is due to commence this summer. Willie Dowling of CB Richard Ellis Gunne will be handling the marketing of the offices.

The first signature building at the corner of Sir John Rogerson's Quay and Cardiff Lane will be occupied by the legal firm of McCann FitzGerald.
