The missing investment broker Mr Tony Taylor has not yet been located, the High Court was told yesterday. The whereabouts of Mr Taylor are still unknown, Ms Laura MacKenna told Mr Justice McCracken. At previous court hearings, it was stated that more than £2 million of investors' funds in companies controlled by Mr Taylor are unaccounted for. Proceedings against both Mr Taylor and his wife Shirley has been brought by Mr Patrick McSwiney, liquidator of Taylor and Associated Finance Services Limited.
When the case came up yesterday, Ms MacKenna said her client, Mrs Taylor, was currently out of the jurisdiction but she did intend to return by the end of January next. Mr John O'Donnell, for the liquidator, said papers in the case had been sent to a senior counsel for his opinion.
Mr Justice McCracken adjourned the case for a week.
