THE British Advertising Standards Authority said it was getting a growing number of complaints about so called offensive ads. It received 1,188 complaints in June about advertisements. That included scantily clad women in provocative poses and violent images, including an ad for a new record that showed a lead pencil inserted into a bloodstained ear.
