COMPLAINTS lodged against British banks with the Independent Banking Advisory Service (IBAS) jumped by 20 per cent last year. The proportion of grumbles against Midland Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, TSB and Yorkshire Bank was down on 1994, but Barclays and NatWest saw a higher share of complaints, while the Co Op and Lloyds were both unchanged.
