Appointment at technology group

Waterford Technologies, an information communications technology group (ICT), has appointed Mr Barry Downes to the position of director of software services. Mr Downes is also project director of the European Commission's Flexwork scheme, a consortium of Europe's top companies disseminating flexible working best practices to the EU and accession countries.
