A significant majority of An Post business customers in Dublin are satisfied with the company's level of service, according to a survey from the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. The survey was carried out over a week-long period and involved more than 550 businesses in the Dublin area.
Respondents were asked to indicate their level of satisfaction, the average time of postal deliveries and their preference for different types of postal services. Some 84 per cent found the service to be either "acceptable, good or very good".
Of those surveyed some 76 per cent said they receive their post before 10 a.m. each morning, with 59 per cent receiving it before 9.30 a.m. The most used services are franking (59 per cent) and stamping (38.5 per cent), with other services like pre-paid post used by few respondents. Mr Ciaran Conlon said the chamber would like to "see more businesses receiving their post before 9.30 a.m.".
