BCP Stockbrokers is offering Aberdeen Asset Management's global technology fund in Ireland. The new fund will provide investors with the opportunity to invest specifically in companies that are among the leaders in the technology sector.
The fund comprises a diverse portfolio of shares including AOL, Sun Microsystems, Softbank, and Qualcomm. The minimum investment is equivalent to $1,500 (€1,550). Aberdeen Asset Management manages more than $26 billion assets worldwide. It has had a presence in Dublin since 1991 and recently acquired ESB Fund Managers. It is now one of the largest independent fund managers in the Republic with £2.25 billion under management.
