Wexford CBS recovered from a sluggish start to beat New Ross Vocational College in their Junior Cup game at Enniscorthy.
Having failed to score in the opening 20 minutes, the Wexford side ran in two excellent tries in the closing 10 minutes of the half through Donal O'Leary and Frank Hore. Both were converted by Derek Leonard.
In the second half, New Ross applied most of the pressure, but the Wexford defence held firm, conceding no score and holding out for victory.
