Wexford 2-20 Tipperary 1-8:WEXFORD PLAYED with the greater intensity as they handed Tipperary a 15-point mauling in this one-sided league game at Wexford Park yesterday.
But this game was dominated by a card happy Brian O’Shea who issued 14 yellow cards, while Wexford finished the game with 13 men having had Paddy Byrne red carded on the hour for an elbow and David Murphy sent off three minutes later for a second yellow.
It certainly was a vintage performance from Wexford who dominated throughout, helped by some brilliant scores from Redmond Barry, Ben Brosnan, PJ Banville and Ciarán Lyng.
