Weekend holidays abound

Four holiday weekends for two awaits the winners of the Guinness All-Ireland Inter-Pub golf tournament at the Ballinasloe Golf Club next weekend. The event is a team of four (any combination) with handicaps limits of 20 for men and 30 for women. Ballinasloe Golf Club is an excellent parkland course which has grown from a small nine-hole facility in 1978 to its present 18 holes (5,858 metres) par 72 test. The venue for the 1987, '91 and 97 Connacht Boys' Championship, Balliansloe can guarantee that those taking part in the tournament will have an enjoyable weekend.
