Waterways rivalry

Cavan versus Fermanagh has a long history of keen rivalry. However, on June 21st to 24th the two counties will joins forces when Slieve Russell, Cavan, Enniskillen and Castle Hume golf clubs will be united in the promotion of the Erne Waterways Championship. Unusual for an event of this kind, this year's competition takes place over a weekend - Thursday through to Sunday. The four-day festival of golf - open to men, women or mixed teams of four - play on a rotation basis over each of the four courses. Entry fee is £75 with individual daily prizes.
