That would have clear knock-on effects, so to speak, which should ensure they hold their commanding position on the table.
"Ulster are always a pretty hard side technically," said Edinburgh coach Frank Hadden.
"We fully expect a great battle up front, but the challenge for us will come from all areas as they also have pace out wide."
