Few players did more for the Old Crescent cause this past week than their talented outhalf cum recently reconverted full back Billy Treacy, who augmented his nine points in the midweek win over St Mary's by scoring 21 points in the 31-24 win over Shannon and accordingly makes our team of the week. Alas, club officials have confirmed that they will be discussing his reaction to being substituted tonight.
Treacy apparently took off his jersey and tossed it against a perimeter boarding before heading into the dressing-room. Some club officials are furious over Treacy's reaction.
