Italian skier Alberto Tomba unveiled his new year's resolutions yesterday - to win a last Olympic medal and to find a woman to marry.

"After 10 years of skiing round the world, now I want to find the woman of my dreams," said the three-times Olympic champion, who turned 31 last month.

"I've already got one or two on the waiting list and maybe I'll get married in the year 2000," he told reporters. But he also asked for the media to leave his private life alone.

His immediate objective, however, is February's Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. "Now all I'm thinking about is the Olympics," Tomba said, promising a return to form this month.
