We read with interest in Saturday's London Independent about English football's latest young sensation, a player tipped by all who've seen him to be a megastar in the not so distant future. Jamie Hunt has become the focus of semi-frenzied attention from several English newspapers and television stations recently, but his coach at Kingswinford, for whom Jamie has scored 78 goals in 14 matches this season, has vowed to help keep his feet on the floor.

Jamie is currently training with Wolves, but clubs from all over England are doing their best to lure him away. If they are to succeed they'll have to offer him a juicy signing-on fee, like a Playstation 2 and three Pokemon games. Eh? Jamie has just turned seven. Expect him to partner Emile Heskey up front for England in Sven-Goran Eriksson's first game.
