NEWMARKET trainer David Loder will be fancied to add tomorrow's Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh to the stable's recent two-year-old Group victories with Abou Zouz in the Gimcrack Stakes and Bahamian Bounty in the Prix Morny. At a cost of £12,500 Loder supplemented Bianca Nera who won last month's Group Two Lowther Stakes at York.

Bianca Nera did not set the world on fire when winning her maiden at Beverley in mid August but she certainly caught the eye when holding by a neck the challenge of Arethusa in the Lowther Stakes. As was the case in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot, the runner-up was not well fancied but Seeby, the well-regarded favourite who had beaten four previous winners in a Group Three at Ascot, was relegated to third place. Bianca Nera looks very useful and should be on the upgrade.

The Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained Crystal Crossing won a six-furlong listed race on her second appearance at Newbury in July and like Seeby defeating four previous winners in very fast time. Robert Sangster's Royal Academy filly may be preferred in the market to compatriot Ryafan, an easy winner on her debut at Doncaster in June. However, Khaled Abdulla's filly, by Lear Fan out of a mare by Northern Dancer is highly thought of and can be expected to improve.

Star Profile impressed when winning on her debut at the Curragh and while relegated to fifth place in the Heinz 57 Phoenix Stakes at Leopardstown on her next appearance was not suited to the dead ground.

Aidan O'Brien runs four and Christy Roche's choice, Family Tradition, successful over a mile at Naas and seven furlongs at Leopardstown, might be the pick. However, she could find this trip on the sharp side. Not so stable-companion Air Of Distinction, successful in the Group Three Anglesea Stakes here recently, with Azra relegated to fourth place.

This is not a cut and dried race but I would not be surprised to see the John Gosden-trained Ryafan step up on that good Doncaster effort.

There is also a strong English challenge for the Group Three Trusted Partner Matron Stakes. Hagwah won a listed race at Leopardstown last month from Proud Titania and Charlock but Donna Viola is preferred after a third behind Sensation and Ta Rib in the Group Two Falmouth Stakes a Newmarket last time out.
