Shamrock Rovers 1 Derry City 1: SHAMROCK ROVERS celebrated their final "home" game in Tolka Park before they go to Tallaght with a draw to deny Derry City second place.
In a fast-paced first half, Rovers made the breakthrough after just 13 minutes through Pádraig Amond. Ger O'Brien put him through, and though Gerard Doherty saved his initial effort, the Ireland under-21 international slipped in the rebound.

Goalkeeper Clive Delaney proved the hero for Derry at the death with a last ditch-tackle to deny Mark Leech to save a point for Stephen Kenny's men.
