Portadown pulled away from the All-Ireland League Division Two relegation zone with a comfortable 36-13 win over visitors UCC at Chambers Park last night. The Portadown pack did the spadework in the opening half and with the wind behind them led 29-8 at the break.
UCC scored a try shortly after the restart but in the closing stages Jeff Park added another try for Portadown.
