Also coached by Feidhlim Kelly at the Dublin Track Club training group, Finn produced her lifetime best in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland in June, taking nine seconds off her previous best to finish in 9:29.25, securing Olympic qualification. Less than a second off Roisin McGettigan's long-standing Irish record of 9:28.29 set in 2007, Finn also represented Ireland in the event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, finishing 11th in her heat.
