Oscar set to keep winning streak going

RACING:NOTHING GOES into this evening's Tipperary action on a hotter streak than Gale Force Oscar and the prolific point-to-point winner can successfully translate that winning form to the racecourse proper.

Josh Halley’s mount lines up for the hunters novice chase and this looks an easier assignment than the one he faced at a recent point when getting the better of a very decent horse in Carthalawn.

On the National Hunt front Gordon Elliott’s Down Royal runner-up Brand Ambassador can go well in the bumper while ever-quickening ground conditions could play a significant role in the mile and a half conditions race.

John Oxx runs his course and distance winner Hartani in this and Aidan O’Brien’s Tibet is having his first start of the year, and his first since starting favourite for the Eyrefield Stakes, but ground conditions should be much more different now.

Red Sea Poll has a 6lb pull with the topweight Possible on Navan running in the five furlong handicap and could be better suited to the conditions here.
