Conor O'Dwyer was the jockey in form at Downpatrick yesterday when completing a double with Windy Valley and Lord Edenbury.
Windy Valley, who will soon join Somerset trainer, Philip Hobbs, was always prominent in the opening bet with the tote maiden hurdle to beat Luminoso by three quarters of a length. Winning trainer, Tony Martin said: "Windy Valley is owned by a London-based syndicate, and will have more opportunities on good ground in Britain."
O'Dwyer later brought his tally for the season to 13 when Lord Edenbury took the EBF Beginners chase.
The Arthur Moore-trained gelding was patiently ridden by O'Dwyer, heading the front-running Verywell after the last to score by half a length.
Charlie Swan recorded his fourth win as a trainer when the Jason Titley-ridden ladies Moskva rallied on the run-in to deny comrade Chinnery by a neck in the Moses Hunter Handicap hurdle.
