The Cork selectors have made four changes in their team for their National Football League match with Roscommon in Hyde Park on Sunday. Cork were beaten comprehensively by Kerry in their first league game, and Dave Creedon, who came on as a sub in that match for Mark O'Connor in the left halfback position, retains his place. At right half forward Colin Crowley comes in for Brendan Walsh.

Don Davis, who was injured against Kerry, yields up his left half-forward position to Brendan Jer O'Sullivan, while Jeremy Canty is drafted into the full-forward line in place of Fachtna Collins.

All-Ireland champions Meath, who travel to play Sligo at Markievicz Park, are likely to be without a number of their championship-winning side.

John McDermott did not figure in their victory over Clare in the opening round of the league and is unlikely to be available. He and his fellow Skryne clubman Trevor Giles are expected to be excused from duty because of their involvement in the Meath county championship final against Dunshaughlin on Sunday week.

However, the good news for Meath is that Evan Kelly, who was taken off the pitch on a stretcher near the end of the victory over Clare, was not seriously injured and is likely to return to the side.

Club ties also restrict the choice of Armagh, who are due to meet Dublin at Parnell Park. Ironically, an Kieran McGeeney and Des Mackin, two of the players who would be expected to line out for Armagh in this match, are involved with the Dublin county champions, Na Fianna, on Sunday week in the Leinster club semi-final against Portlaoise. They are an McGeeney and Des Mackin and they are expected to be excused from intercounty duty.

Also likely to be ruled out of contention for Armagh are Oisin McConville and brothers Tony and John McEntee who play for Crossmaglen and will be engaged in the Ulster club final against Enniskillen Gaels on Sunday week. All three have been prominent in recent Crossmaglen successes at All-Ireland level.

Dublin will be without Jason Sherlock, who was sent off in the opening match against Tyrone and is thus suspended. Dublin's team will be announced later in the week.

an Howe and Michael McGee, all of whom made their debuts in that game and retain their places.

at Omagh ten days ago. There's also a new reserve goalkeeper, Cahal Blee, who will be on the bench after receiving a late call-up as cover for the Dublin tie. Another addition to the panel is Errigal Ciaran's Peter Loughran, who is also on standby. The game has an earlier than usual a 1 p.m. start to facilitate travelling supporters.

Kildare's team selection for their game against Derry at Newbridge is also likely to be influenced by the fact their county champions, Sarsfields, are still involved in the Leinster club championships. They face Kilanerin from Wexford on Sunday week.

The Kildare team will not be picked until tomorrow night and it isunlikely, apparently, that the Sarsfields players Niall Buckley, John Whelan and Padraig Brennan will be asked to play.

Of interest here is that Buckley and Whelan figured at midfield for Kildare in their victory over Down in the opening round of matches in the competition. Should they not be made available for the match against Derry it will mean that Kildare will have to cobble together a new midfield pairing.

Galway were burning the midnight oil insofar as team selection for their match against Donegal in Ballybofey was concerned. Tommy Joyce, who deputised for Sean Og de Paor in the victory over Roscommon, will not be available having been sent off in the last moments of that match, although his term of suspension has not yet been decided.

De Paor is staying in Australia until the spring.

Donegal will not announce their team until later in the week and expect to be able to select from a full panel of players. Tyrone will face Kerry at Tralee with an unchanged side, managers Art McRory and Eugene McKenna having decided not to tamper with a winning combination following a convincing opening-day victory over Dublin at Omagh.

Goalkeeper Martin Conway and defenders Ciaran Howe and Michael McGee, made their debuts in that game and retain their places.

There is also a new reserve goalkeeper, Cahal Blee, who will be on the bench after receiving a late call-up as cover for the Dublin tie.

An addition to the panel is Errigal Ciaran's Peter Loughran, who is also on standby.

The game has a 1 p.m. start to facilitate travelling supporters.
