RACING:IT IS almost four months since Choir has seen a racecourse but Aidan O'Brien's juvenile can make light of that and win the home weekend feature at Naas tomorrow.

A dozen line up for the prestigious Derrinstown Birdcatcher Nursery with Jim Bolger’s Janey Muddles and Choir dominating the weights.

Janey Muddles ran just last weekend in the Rockfel at Newmarket when finishing less than five lengths behind Wading.

Choir however hasn’t run since Irish Derby day, when he too wasn’t beaten too far behind Lilbourne Lad in the Railway Stakes. John Oxx’s runner has won a Group Two and a Group Three on her last two starts but a 115 rating means she still comes out well on figures for tomorrow’s event.

The Listed Navigation Stakes is today’s Cork feature and the mile event looks a good opportunity for Stunning View to return to form, while Hail can step up from an encouraging Navan debut to land the extended mile maiden.

Tomorrow’s all-jumps card at the Mallow track sees First Lieutenant make his second start over fences while King Vuvuzela could kick off his jumping career with a win in the first.
