Juergen Klinsmann will miss Germany's opening match of the European Championship against the Czech Republic on June 9th.
UEFA's executive committee, at their meeting yesterday, did not even discuss a campaign by the German FA to discount bookings incurred in the qualifiers.
"That topic wasn't on the agenda and it won't be," said UEFA president Lennart Johansson. "All of which means we are not prepared to make any changes."
On the Bosman judgement, UEFA will meet the European Commission in Brussels and present its latest proposal which calls for each team's 16-man squad to include 11 home-grown players.
Meanwhile, led by Johansson, the eight European members of FlFA's executive committee have renewed their campaign to have Japan and South Korea co-host the 2002 World Cup.
