GAA: Wexford's David Murphy had the red card picked up in the big win over Tipperary eight days ago rescinded at the weekend's meeting of the GAA's Central Hearings Committee, writes SEÁN MORAN.

It was accepted at CHC by the Central Competitions Control Committee that the second yellow card shown to Murphy should not have been administered by the referee.

CHC also decided to suspend Donegal selector Rory Gallagher

for four weeks on the charge of verbally abusing match officials during the league match against Cork yesterday week – the suspension running from last Saturday.
