Moore the merrier

Joan Moore became the first woman to act as manager to an Ireland team when she managed the Ireland under-21 team on their weekend visit to Banbury. Moore deputised for former international full back Philip Rainey who was unavailable to make the trip. Despite the fact that Ireland lost for the first time to England in five years at this level (20-11) Joan did a superb job. Watch out Donal Lenihan.
