A closer look at Donovan's feat of endurance

(Russian base at Novo, Antarctica) Starting at 2.50am, Donovan completes his first marathon in 4:39.29, with temperatures reaching a low of -200C, then immediately boards a plane for the six-hour flight to Cape Town.

In the early afternoon Donovan completes his second marathon in 4:29.33, in temperatures of 280C, then catches the 6.10pm flight to Dubai, a journey of nine hours.
Sunday, February 1st
(Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
After arriving at 5.35am, Donovan completes his third marathon in two days in just under five hours, and later catches a 4.30pm flight to London.

Arriving at 8.15pm, Donovan runs his fourth marathon through the night, leaving at 9am that morning for the eight-hour flight to Toronto.
Monday, February 2nd
(Toronto, Canada)
Arrives at 12.20pm on flight from London. Completes his fifth marathon 4:07.30, and later departs on 11.55pm flight to Santiago.
Tuesday, February 3rd
(Santiago, Chile)
Arrives at 12.35pm, and, accompanied by members of the Santiago Runners Club, completes his sixth marathon in temperatures of 320C. Catches 11.05pm flight to Sydney.
Thursday, February 5th
(Sydney, Australia)
The 18-hour flight arrives at 7.20am, and Donovan completes his seventh marathon at 2pm.
