The FAI National League and RTE television yesterday announced that the Derry City v Bohemians league match at the Brandywell on October 4th will be screened live on RTE's Sports Stadium programme on Network 2.

RTE will be covering the game using a five-camera outside broadcast unit in the first of a minimum of six live transmissions of domestic football matches this season.

At least one First Divison team will make the semi-finals of the FAI National League Cup after yesteday's draw paired Home Farm/Everton with Cobh Ramblers.

First Division promotion favourties Bray Wanderers will be pleased with a home draw against Sligo Rovers, though the draw wasn't so kind to Limerick who must face Shelbourne at Tolka Park. Last season's beaten finalist, Cork City, must travel to Dundalk.

There is provision for a replay in all ties, but only if they remain unresolved after 30 minutes extra-time.

Draw: Shelbourne v Limerick FC, Bray Wanderers v Sligo Rovers, Dundalk v Cork City, Home Farm/Everton v Cobh Ramblers. Ties to be played on 14th and 15th of October.
