Lenihan is the clear favourite

Newly-crowned Irish champion John Lenihan is the clear favourite in today'sworld championship hill-running trial at Djouce Ridge in Co Wicklow.

Competitors in the race, which starts at the Lake car park, Enniskerry, at two o'clock, run up and down Djouce three times.

The leading runners in the men's and women's races will represent Ireland in the world championships in the Czech Republic in early September.
