Leeds go flat

PORT VALE proved their win over Everton was no fluke as they gave lacklustre Leeds the run around at Elland Road in their English FA Cup match last night.

John Rudge's men made a mockery of their first division survival struggle to make the Premiership side look second best.

And although they were unable to turn their openings into goals and claim their first quarter final place for 42 years, there was no denying their right to a home replay next Wednesday.
