Irish Youths captain and out half Mark McHugh displayed his kicking ability when he landed a huge effort from the halfway line early in the second half of the trial match with the Ireland Under-19s at the Aer Lingus sports ground yesterday.
His huge kick proved to be the decisive score. Earlier the Under 19 side had opened the scoring with an unconverted try by Paul Neville after 20 mins.
Youths levelled when full back Andrew Morrissey collected a kick ahead to score in the corner.
