Munster MHC Final/Cork 2-18 Limerick 1-8: Cork preserved their record of never having lost to Limerick in a Munster minor hurling final with victory at Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday.
The winners led by 1-7 to 0-5 at the interval following a low-key first half. Patrick Cronin scored the goal after 20 minutes.
Cork stretched the lead to 1-13 to 0-6 after 43 minutes. They then ended the game as a contest with a 1-2 burst in two minutes. Pat Horgan scored the goal. Limerick scored 1-6 in the later stages with Eoin Ryan scoring a goal from an injury-time penalty.
