Barry Geraghty partnered his fifth winner in the last five jump racing days when the Paddy Mullins-trained Our Risk landed the opening Kilross Handicap Hurdle at Tipperary last night.

Geraghty, who currently leads the National Hunt riders championship on the six-winner mark, sent the four-year-old to the front three out and he survived a mistake at the last to hold Harkness Warrior by a length.

Arthur Moore has a chasing career in mind for Forli Des Ormeaux who made all under Barry Cash to take the first division of the Powers Maiden Hurdle. The French-bred gelding shrugged off the challenge of the flattering favourite Mykon Gold early in the straight to score by five lengths.

Mykon Gold's handler Willie Mullins went one better in the second division when River Cora recorded a pillar-to-post victory in the hands of David Casey. The favourite If And But appeared a big threat approaching the last but after jumping the flight proved very reluctant and veered right over to the stands rail eventually finishing fifth.
