The East of Ireland Alliance kicks off this month at The European Club and will be staged every Wednesday through the months of October to March. The aim of the Alliance is to give players in the Dublin-Waterford region the opportunity to play competitive golf on a links course in the winter months. The maximum handicap allowance is nine and play will be over 18 holes in fourballs. There is no membership fee to the alliance and entrance fees to each outing are £25 for amateurs, £15 for professionals and current internationals and £10 for members of the European Club.
