After the infamous pre-match scuffle in front of Hill 16, Dublin raced into what looked like an unassailable lead, 2-11 to 0-10, after 46 minutes.

However they were then outscored 1-6 to 0-1 from there on as Ciarán McDonald (above) helped inspire an amazing comeback that saw Mayo into the All-Ireland final, where they lost to Kerry.
