JOE NEDNEY kicked three field goals and Dan Marino threw a touchdown pass to O.J. McDuffie as the Miami Dolphins prevented the Buffalo Bills from clinching a play-off berth with a 16-14 victory on Monday night.
Miami (7-8) won for just the second time in its last six home meetings against Buffalo (9-6). Buffalo's loss clinched table AFC East title for the New England Patriots. The Bills can secure a wild-card spot with a home win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but will be out with a loss and a Jacksonville win.
