IT Sligo 1-7 NUI Galway 0-9:A DANNY Cummins point five minutes before the end gave IT Sligo the narrowest of wins at Ballinode yesterday.

NUIG, who ended their campaign pointless, battled bravely and looked to be on their way to at least a draw when Seán Armstrong put them 0-9 to 1-5 ahead with nine minutes left.
